This cookbook should win some sort of literary prize. There is cleverness and surprising wit sprinkled throughout, and all of it seems to roll effortlessly and genuinely from N. Lawson’s speaking voice. I have not baked or cooked any desserts or meals from this wonderful book, but I just love reading it. If you are prone to making actual use of delicious-sounding recipes, this book could be your new best buddy.
