Jaq Avetisyan
The creator and Illustrator of Heart of a Lion,
Jaq received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
from Otis College of Art and Design in 2006.
Since then Jaq has created art for Disney
Interactive Studios, Yahoo Games, and Hard
Rock Cafe, to name a few.

Jaq has also illustrated two children’s books for Quackenworth
Publishing, Salmonella: A Germ-Packed Love Story and Moldy Socks
and the Three Little Hares. Heart of a Lion is the first of many JAQ
Publishing books he intends to send into the world the importance of
following one’s heart.


Karo G. Blikian
The writer of Heart of a Lion received a
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis
on screenwriting from Columbia College Film
School in 2006. He has since written articles,
blogs, and reviews for several print and online
publications. Heart of a Lion is book one in his
first series.
