  • The Graveyard Book (Hardcover)

By Neil Gaiman, Dave Mckean (Illustrator)
    $17.99

After Bod's family is killed, he's taken in by a ghostly couple who give their word to his dead mother that they would take care of him.  They give Bod access to the graveyard - which means he can go into the graves of the dead, as well as fade and dream walk(which isn't really permitted).  The only catch is that he is not allowed to leave the graveyard or his family's killer might find him.  What will become of Nobody Owens?  Will he ever be able to have a life outside of the graveyard?  Is he even safe within the place he now calls home?  All your questions will be answered at the end of this book - or at least most of them!
I really enjoyed reading this book.  It might be coded as middle grade but I'd recommend it to anyone of any age.
