Strawberry, the eight-time All Star, four-time World Series Champion, and 1983 National League Rookie of the Year, is well known not only for his accomplishments on the field but also for his troubles and controversial behavior off of it. Straw is his story from his childhood and early years with the Mets, through his troubled past and finally to the positive place he finds himself in today as a family man and advocate for troubled youth and those affected by autism.
