The Philosopher-Citizen Institute at PCC hosts its 4th annual Open House and Workshop at Vroman's Bookstore! Join PCC professors in a civil and balanced philosophical discussion about a complex contemporary social issue. Participate in an interactive citizen-thinker workshop. A small-time crook is doing life in Corcoran State Prison for his mother's murder, but when he admits that his confession was coerced by the cops, Detective Scully takes on the case. It leads him straight into the path of a ruthless cop who has it in for him, and quite abruptly, an LAPD deputy chief shuts the case down, setting the stage for a dangerous investigation that spirals wildly out of control.
