Left heartbroken in Los Angeles, Anna has an enviable backup plan.  Bilingual and blessed with dual citizenship, she moves to the city of romance, Paris, to live in her aunt's empty apartment. Unable to mend her heart, Anna tries to find solace in the cobblestone streets, the delectable pastries, and the company of old friends. In finding a job translating for a famous French (and anonymous) author, Anna finds herself among the city's literati and in the arms of an alluring Parisian man as she learns to explore the best parts of her French and American self.
