The Edge Summer Author and Music Series presents David Reyes & Tom Waldman

David Reyes & Tom Waldman present and sign Land of a Thousand Dances: Chicano Rock ‘n’ Roll from Southern California Land of a Thousand Dances explores the golden era of Chicano rock, from the 1950s through 2008. Many of these artists came from lower and middle class families in East LA and were without formal musical training. Waldman and Reyes profile these artists and bands that have had a strong impact on the music industry.   Special musical guest: seminal 80’s band Los Illegals.

Jump into your PJ’s, grab the whole family, and join our very own Kris Vreeland on the Vroman’s stage outside the store for Storytelling Under the Stars. Enjoy our traditional sticky s’mores and sit back and listen to some really great stories.
