Up to 75 percent of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related complaints or disorders.  To help combat this, Dr. John Horton teamed up with renowned sports psychologist Timothy Gallwey & colleague Dr. Edward Hanzelik to develop The Inner Game of Stress, a revolutionary new program to tackle the stress that most people face every day. This book will show you how to reduce your stress, ultimately leading you to never having to read another book on the subject.
Start: 5:30 pm
Grade Pre-K - 5th: 5:30pm Grades 6th - 12th: 7:00pm Attention all librarians, educators of Pre-K - 12, and home school instructors! Vroman's would like to invite you all to attend an evening hosted by our expert children's staff to discuss the latest in children's literature, upcoming school event opportunities, services and more. To say thank you for attending our event, Vroman's will be handing out 20% off discount coupons that can be used on yourself and not just school. In addition, we are pleased to be joined by representatives from the Institute for Girls’ Development.   “At the Institute for Girls' Development, we are dedicated to empowering girls as they face challenges & opportunities. For Vroman's Teachers' Night, we've selected the theme of the social world of girls.  The media tells us about “mean girls,” “bullying,” “harassment” and “odd girls out.” Students tell us about conflicts, mean kids, gossip, rumors, cliques, and exclusion.  What's a teacher to do?  We look forward to sharing resources to add to the positive contributions you already make to your students' social & emotional growth.” (For more information on the Institute visit: www.InstituteForGirlsDevelopment.com Please RSVP to customer service at our main store and be sure to tell us which session you will be attending.
