Girl Scout Kendal Kully will be leading a panel discussion on gender and sexuality in society.
This panel will focus on the importance of a person’s acceptance of individuals who might be different from themselves, specifically in the LGBT community which still experiences discrimination. Kendal notes that the only way to work towards ending this discrimination is through education and discussion.
Kendal’s panel will feature Kerrie Walsh (Sappho & Sexuality studies), Cole Slater (Gender & Sexuality bullying expert), Dr. Kelly King (Gender Spectrum Programs/Glendale School District), and Cheryl Koos (Professor of Gender Studies).
