Why do some people’s daily foibles, triumphs, and wince-worthy moments make for such terrific fun? V. Davis treats us to snapshots of her life with drawings and words that seem fresh and never forced. Many graphic novelists describe their own memories, moods, and misgivings, but this book is so much better (i.e. funnier) than most. Even if one does not particularly wish to be ‘made into a woman’, this book may just make your day, as it did mine.
