This workshop will inspire and motivate writers of all levels. Acquire powerful self-awareness tools, find out how to tap into your emotional truth and untie the knots of your past, and learn how to open your heart and discover what brings you joy. The workshop is based on Diana Raab’s new book, Writing for Bliss, which was named by Poets & Writers as one of the best books for writers. The workshop includes lectures, discussion, and writing prompts, as well as exploration into journaling, memoir, and poetry.
Instructor: Diana Raab , MFA, PhD, is a memoirist, poet, blogger, inspirational speaker, and award-winning author of nine books. Her work has been published and anthologized in over 500 publications. She holds a PhD in psychology with a research focus on the healing and transformative powers of writing.
Diana blogs for Psychology Today, PsychAlive, Elephant Journal and The Huffington Post. She’s editor of two anthologies: Writers and Their Notebooks and Writers on the Edge; two memoirs: Regina’s Closet: Finding My Grandmother’s Secret Journal and Healing with Words: A Writer’s Cancer Journey, and four poetry collections, including Lust. She teaches nation-wide workshops on writing for healing and transformation.
