Throughout the 70's, Gene Bauer created sixty-one limited edition booklets for the members of the California Garden Club. Each booklet featured narrative text and these beautiful serigraphs (silk screen prints), intended to acquaint members of the Club to the many gardens, preserves and arboreta in California. With a delicate eye and an incredible attention to detail, Bauer's timeless imagery is as much of a delight today as when it was originally created.
