When I first read this book in high school, I was first intrigued and then horrified by the idea of how deeply technology may permeate the human mind in the future… A wonderfully creative look at what may come and the challenges we could face as a society. Love this book!
Ali Reynolds, still recovering from the murder of her ex-husband, is aided by her parents and an old high school chum, Dave Holman. Meanwhile, a wealthy, reclusive heiress seeks her help in writing a disturbing memoir, and soon after, Dave's daughter disappears from her Las Vegas home. Filled with intriguing subplots, Hand of Evil keeps a fast pace that will carry you straight through from beginning to end.
