Jane Vandenburgh & Linda Daly discuss and sign The Wrong Dog Dream: A True Romance and The Last Pilgrimage: My Mother's Life and Our Journey to Saying Goodbye

After moving from California to Washington, D.C., with her husband, Jack, Vandenburgh decides the logical answer to their problems is the purchase of an English Springer Spaniel named Whistler. But Whistler is an anxious purebred, and not at all the dog from Vandenburgh's childhood memories.  Wrought with anxiety over the possibility that she has chosen the wrong dog, she delves into a personal exploration based on these doubts.

Linda Daly had a seemingly charmed life: her mother Nancy was married to the head of Warner Bros, and her parents were one of the most prominent couples in Los Angeles. But then they encountered the one thing that tested the bond between mother and daughter: Nancy's diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer.  Mother and daughter began a search for a miracle cure – a roller-coaster ride through western medicine and alternative therapies. Out of choices and almost out of time, Linda and her mother put their faith in one last pilgrimage: a visit to a Brazilian faith healer during his residence in upstate New York.
