You might recognize Vroman’s, even if you’ve never visited our store. The Vroman’s main store has been featured as a location in The 40 Year Old Virgin and episodes of the TV shows Naked Trucker and The Sarah Silverman Project.

Recently, Vroman’s head book buyer Marie Du Vaure was featured in an LA Weekly article about independent bookstores in Los Angeles, “The Bookish Set.”

In 2008, Publishers Weekly named Vroman’s Bookseller of the Year, the highest honor a bookstore can achieve. The award honored Vroman’s commitment to community, its profitability, its exceptional customer service, and its knowledgeable staff.
