#DignidadLiteraria: Latinx Identity and Publishing panel on  Saturday March 21st at 4pm

Join us for an event that continues the important ongoing conversation about Latinx Identity and Publishing featuring local authors, editors, poets and writers.

The event will begin with poetry readings by poets Féi Hernandez and Lisbeth Coiman. This will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Désirée Zamorano, author of The Amado Women.

Panelists include:
Luis J. Rodriguez, Founding Editor of Tía Chucha Press, author of From Our Land to Our Land: Journeys & Imaginings from a Native Xicanx Writer and Always Running: La Vida Loca – Gang Days In LA
Viva Padilla, Founding Editor of Dryland literary journal, book editor, poet
Angela Sanchez, author of Scruffy and the Egg: Adventures on the Road, Education Advocate
Luivette Resto, poet and author of Unfinished Portraits and Ascension
Alex Espinoza, author of The Five Acts of Diego Leon
Marcus Clayton, editor at Indicia Lit, writer

#DignidadLiteraria is a network of committed Latinx activists hosting town halls and other events across the nation to combat the dearth of Latinx authors, editors and executives in the US publishing industry.
