Young Readers League (YRL) is a reading program designed to inspire kids ages 8-14, to talk, read and interact with books and their community. A selection committee made up of local educators and kids chooses a book to highlight. Participants read the selected book and can attend events with the author around the community. Then the whole thing culminates in a reception/book talk!
We are currently looking for educators & students interested in serving on the 2019 Selection Committee to help choose the title that the community will celebrate in the fall of this year. If you are interested in being part of the selection committee, please click on the appropiate link below.
Check back soon to find out which book was picked by the Young Readers League Selection Committee and for more information regarding YRL events.
